The final leg ~ Chicago to Syracuse and onto Oswego

Needless to say, I am so glad to be boarding for the final leg of this exciting but tiring journey. It’s not surprising,  the size of the aircraft is getter smaller and smaller for each leg. The seating configuration was a single and double row with limited head room...ouch! Sorry, just hit my head.
The aircraft tracked along Lake Ontario and the bright lights of the small towns along the way illuminated the lake’s foreshore...an amazing sight to behold. The in flight entertainment is BYO and the passengers across from me were plugged in watching Seinfeld on a laptop...giddy up! I luv that show.

It took about two and half hours to Syracuse, landing at 11.00pm. My host Professor Susan Camp greeted me with a warm and friendly Oswego welcome. So nice of her to come and pick me up from the airport. Equally exciting was seeing my luggage...happy days. Around midnight I arrived at the Mary Walker Health Center SUNY Oswego, which will be my home for the next three and a half months. The apartment is spacious with a combined kitchen and dining area, a separate lounge room, double bed room and a bathroom. I unpacked and then watched some of the seventy-six campus cable channels. So happy to have arrived safely and closed my eyes around 3.00am.

  1. 3:00 am or 3:00 pm - 'cause if 3pm that would be a l o n g time to be watching cable!

Bet you were pleased to arrive though - sounds like a fab pad - all that space for one bod. Am sure you will be very comfy there! Have FUN George...
